Manínska Gorge – hike

Manínska Gorge or Manínska tiesňava is the narrowest canyon in Slovakia and a great place to hike and enjoy Slovak nature. We will drive from Bratislava a little less than two hours. After driving through the gorge we will start a 12 km hike that usually takes 3 – 4 hours. The hike has really nice view points and is easy.

After the hike we will drive an hour to Beckov town for lunch. Lovely place with sheeps, goats and local cuisine. Great place to try our national meal bryndzové halušky or other delicacies. Later on we will walk to a hill with Beckov castle view (thirteenth century).

The end is up to you. In order to come back to Bratislava at around 19.00 we will still have an extra hour to either visit a spa town or one more natural attraction. I will tell you more on the way and you will decide.

The tour is available in all seasons, all year around. There might be changes because of the weather and opening hours of sights. The exact itinerary will be agreed before the tour start. This is a full day tour, if you would like to do more, and return to Bratislava later, we can always add some extra activities.
