Relaxed Bratislava – views, parks, and drinks

Most time of this tour will be spent outside the historical center. We will walk about 9 kilometers (part by taxi) and stop for drinks a few times to rest and enjoy the day. This tour usually takes about 4 hours. You can also extend the relaxed tour with historical Bratislava tour. After those two you will be a Bratislava expert!
This tour is especially suitable for those interested to see other parts of the town than the historical center, those interested to walk, have a few drinks and relax in our city parks. We can also do the tour in the evening or night and add a few night clubs or other fun venues. I could also bring my lovely dog Rudo if you want. We could also extend the tour and drive to a few locations outside the city. All depends on your wishes.

• We will walk to Horský park first. A city park from the second half of the nineteenth century. Now an area popular among locals for relaxation, jogging, and dog walking. Here we will stop at a local pub and have a drink or a small meal.
• We will then continue through a nice residential area to Slavín – a World War II memorial that offers one of the best views on our city.
• Next stop – Palisády – a residential area that once used to be the city border. Great place to sit for a while.
• Our next stop will be Bratislava castle – the most important sight in the city with history dating back to the Celtic times. And also another great opportunity to see the town from above.
• Short stop at the Slovak parliament building where we will talk about the present and past.
• We will rest a little with a drink at Podhradie – historical area under the castle with bars and pubs – especially nice in the evening.
• Freshen up with a local beer and full of energy we will cross the New Bridge (Most SNP) above the Danube river and walk to Petržalka (one of the five districts in Bratislava). We will talk about Vydrica – city area destroyed to make space for the bridge with UFO on the top.
• If you would like we can vist UFO – that has a viewing platform and a luxury restaurant (not included in the price).

• Bit more city nature as we will walk in one of the oldest public parks in Central Europe – Sad Janka Kráľa.
• Another Danube crossing – this time on the Old bridge (Starý most) – back to the town where we either say bye or continue with the historical Bratislava tour.

The tour is available in all seasons, all year around. There might be changes because of weather and opening hours of sights. The exact itinerary will be agreed before the tour start. This is approximately a four hour tour. If you would like to do more than listed in the itinerary, or even drive outside of Bratislava, let me know, we can do that, we can always add some extra activities.
